A Most Wonderful Dream

I had a great dream last night. I was getting ready for work, I was emotionally misery and dreaded going, I had just put on my jacket when there was a knock at the door, it was Chris Powell from Extreme Weightloss, he told me he picked me to go on a one year weight loss journey, and to pack my bags promptly cause we were heading to LA for boot camp. The joy I was feeling, like that of hitting the lottery. It was a double win, one I got to get out of going to work and be in agonizing pain, and two I got to get a new life! The people on that show go through some amazing transformation and to think that I would be one of those people that in one short year my entire life would change and become what I always wanted, was amazing.

It was all just a dream sadly, and I am fully awake back to reality, that was a wonderful moment  to experience even if it wasn't real. I wish I could be so lucky though. In other news it snowed again, a great deal, and is still falling at the moment.

The title, lyrics from one of my favorite bands and one of my favor songs, The All-American Reject's Move Along . It randomly popped up in my head at just the right time. I'm not going to give up, I pretty much see how sort of ridiculous my feelings have been the last 48 hours. Lifestyle changes are not easy, it took me 27 years, 27 years of gradually weight gain to put me here, and its not going to be lost over night, not even in a year, but a lot can be done in a year, more in two, and so on, and so on. I have to keep sight of what I want, and that is to be thinner, happier and healthier. Going back to work will be a new obstacle Ill have to adjust to, Ill have to endure the looks, the stares, the embarrassment, Ill have to live through my worst fears all over again, but I know these are the last of them, these are the final years of these bad experiences. Evil People, With Powerful Things, Do Massive Things

Yesterday was a mild day, I read my book, it just got really good several plots are starting to slowly intertwine. I starting reading my walking dead comics again too, I also watched a movie last night. This morning I woke up to news and headlines of yet another mass shooting  this time some guy killed 50 people in a nightclub. I normally don't speak about these issues, but that's quite a staggering number, and to be honest I haven't been desensitized to mass-shootings yet, as common as they are occurring. What bothers me about these situations is a single person can take a single device and use it repeatable to take dozens upon dozens of lives. They can just walk into a church, a school, a movie theater, a shopping mall, or a club (all of which have happened seperate to this incident)  and decide for any reason or no reason at all  that today's the day that quite a few unknowing people will lose their lives. Crumbling Cookie

Well I found out early today that my brother wouldn't quite be making his debut today because he would have to make several bus trips over several days. This somehow eased my anxiety, I mean why not? For the time-being I'll take prolonging the inevitable, which historically worsens my anxiety . I was told he wouldn't be making it here until around Friday, however later in the day, near the end,  I'm told there has been a miscalculation and he will be home sometime tomorrow. Anxiety currently sky high. Tomorrow will be quite the test, I am quite thankful that I have therapy on the same day, as my mind keeps going to dark places I have actually entertained the possibility of voluntary commitment, of course it would likely derail weight loss and what's the point of being committed if it's just going to make you worse off?
