Small Medial Meniscus Tears

Someone from my doctors office called to inform me about the MRI this morning. As the title says, there are small medial meniscus tears and mild osteoarthritis in my right knee, they have obviously refereed me to an  orthopedist. I had a feeling I was in for less than stellar news involving the knee. I guess the next  thing is to do is make an appointment with an orthopedist and see what the next step is, though Im positive it's surgery, which it's a no-go, I can't slow down now.

In better news yesterday I also went to see my nutrionist, that went pretty well, I went down another level on the BMI index and got  20$ another gift card to Walmart, I think the last time this happened was January, or feburary, but it was pretty cool. I'll probably use this to buy some sunglasses (the kind that clip on or fit over my current glasses) or a dumbbell of some kind.

Aside from making a trip to Wally World (Walmart) no real plans this weekend. I think I'm just going to read, maybe even draw something.

The title, lyrics from one of my favorite bands and one of my favor songs, The All-American Reject's Move Along . It randomly popped up in my head at just the right time. I'm not going to give up, I pretty much see how sort of ridiculous my feelings have been the last 48 hours. Lifestyle changes are not easy, it took me 27 years, 27 years of gradually weight gain to put me here, and its not going to be lost over night, not even in a year, but a lot can be done in a year, more in two, and so on, and so on. Boring Weekend Nears Its End

Yesterday was rather boring, I watched movies, most of them not very good ones. I ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast and fasted till dinner (I think the fasting will be a regular now) . For dinner I had some rather bland barbecue turkey meatballs, my experience with turkey meat is either it's good, or its bad, there is no in between. Anywho, I downed those with chips which is where the bulk of the days calories came from. I consumed 2,185 calories in total. Going in to this next week Id like to stay below 1800 calories, or even 1,500. Im curious about tomorrow's weigh in, wondering if it will go well. I'm concerned about maybe gaining weight somehow. It's way too soon to see the numbers go up. My goal is still to be out of the 500s by mid April, actually, let's just say by May. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning that should be interesting, just standard stuff this time. I'm planning workout boot camp for the coming, in -door miles every day u

Seems Ive Survived The Week

Yesterday at work I only had to do computer training, I wasn't on my feet much at all, and yet they still hurt, just not severely. I was happy to get off, and yet emotionally miserable the ride home. When I arrived home and got inside, I headed to my room, and just did a genuine smile, I was glad to see my safe zone. Yesterday was a pretty emotional day (as many of you seen) , I never did end up calling that hotline, and likely wont, I just cant picture it doing me any good, what can they really do? Listen? I don't know. I'm not feeling as dark today, but I still wouldn't say my mental state has improved. However I'm glad to say I'm off until Tuesday, this may seem great, but I kind of feel like its bad. Having this time off then jumping back in, I'm sure by sometime Sunday night, things will start weighing heavy on me again. You know I didn't think Id ever be back at this point, honestly.
