The First 24

Image
The first 24 hours of the water fast are behind us, and It went better than expected. Phantom food cravings coming and going, sometimes triggered by sight. I follow someone on Instagram with the user name Bombassmealpreps and he makes all this delicious keto food that looks absolutely to die for. He recently made some cookies that had me rethinking everything. But I moved on, the first 2-3days are the hardest as for as hunger and cravings go, it honestly hasn't been as bad as it normally is, so far. Once you make it past the 3rd day your appetite just turns off.. Pending if you've started the detox, the detox portion can be rough because you lose water and sodium so much more rapidly and thats often where a lot of people throw in the towel. Ill be enduring, the goal is 7 days, 6 to go.

Im beginning a water-fast to kick off my weight loss  I am particularly interested in the detox portion but also the mental rejuvenation that occurs. Im doing a minimum of 7 days, I've done 9 days straight before, which started out as 2-days and keep getting extended. We'll see how I fare with this goal before I start making any claims of extensions. I haven't been motivated to do this in awhile but finally I've gotten the drive I need. Ill be taking a shot (two tablespoons) of apple cider vinegar twice a day with water magnesium and potassium supplements. a sprinkle of pink  Himalayan sea salt for energy purposes regular medications WATER, WATER, WATER

Weigh-in: Seeking Redemption Cove

So here we are, it's Monday. Time to weigh-in, after a week of overindulging on calorie packed bakery cookies and skipping on exercising and not to mention Saturday in its entirety,  I have come into this weigh-in with realistic sense of dread. Last week I weighted 357.6. This week I weigh 354.4 . So that actually turns out to be a loss of 3.2lbs. So how did this happen? Well I honestly didn't eat dinner for the last four days, so that probably plays a slight role. Like I said a in previous post I've been in an odd place mentally, and I've taken some steps back depression wise. I decided to skip dinner since Thursday part of it was because I was trying to compensate for the damage I'd already done throughout the week, and another part was just the depression making it too easy for me not to have any appetite. The plan for the week is still to reach R edemption C ove , I'm quite uncertain if this is possible to be honest. I'm quite unmotivated and still men...

The Weight-In: Reaching Redemption Cove

Image
Ah yes, a hard week indeed, up until Sunday's weakness, I resisted the urge of the chip demon, and feasted upon fruits and veggies throughout the week staying within a pleasing calorie goal everyday. Today I found out if those commitments paid off, all to try to reach Redemption Cove. So here it is, last week I was 470 pounds, this week 464! That's a 6 pound loss, and I have made it successfully to Redemption Cove! That pound I gained at last weigh-in is a thing of the past, I have redeemed myself! I can only imagine what my numbers would have been if I actually had done my exercise goals for the week, I could have maybe doubled my numbers.., ehhh lets not get a head of myself. A mild week, had some lows, not being able to do my goals and start tasks had me feeling low off and on, the good news is I felt rather balanced a good part of the week, had some mini spikes of anxiety towards the end of the week, all goals related, and again not starting my tasks but it was a most...
