Laundry

Today I'm going to spend a good amount  of my time doing my laundry, and watching movies in between. I'm really enjoying my room again. I haven't been getting to bed on a good schedule, I don't wake up with any discomfort though, I feel fine so.

Im helping mom with some bills with my check and anything left over I'm thinking of getting measuring cups and stuff like that to better portion my food. The warmer weather will be here pretty soon, I'd like to go walking at the park, but I'll need music. I'm thinking maybe some new headphones and a MP3 player (cheap ones) from eBay for the walking season.

The title, lyrics from one of my favorite bands and one of my favor songs, The All-American Reject's Move Along . It randomly popped up in my head at just the right time. I'm not going to give up, I pretty much see how sort of ridiculous my feelings have been the last 48 hours. Lifestyle changes are not easy, it took me 27 years, 27 years of gradually weight gain to put me here, and its not going to be lost over night, not even in a year, but a lot can be done in a year, more in two, and so on, and so on. I have to keep sight of what I want, and that is to be thinner, happier and healthier. Weigh-in: Seeking Redemption Cove

So here we are, it's Monday. Time to weigh-in, after a week of overindulging on calorie packed bakery cookies and skipping on exercising and not to mention Saturday in its entirety,  I have come into this weigh-in with realistic sense of dread. Last week I weighted 357.6. This week I weigh 354.4 . So that actually turns out to be a loss of 3.2lbs. So how did this happen? Well I honestly didn't eat dinner for the last four days, so that probably plays a slight role. Like I said a in previous post I've been in an odd place mentally, and I've taken some steps back depression wise. I decided to skip dinner since Thursday part of it was because I was trying to compensate for the damage I'd already done throughout the week, and another part was just the depression making it too easy for me not to have any appetite. Evil People, With Powerful Things, Do Massive Things

Yesterday was a mild day, I read my book, it just got really good several plots are starting to slowly intertwine. I starting reading my walking dead comics again too, I also watched a movie last night. This morning I woke up to news and headlines of yet another mass shooting  this time some guy killed 50 people in a nightclub. I normally don't speak about these issues, but that's quite a staggering number, and to be honest I haven't been desensitized to mass-shootings yet, as common as they are occurring. What bothers me about these situations is a single person can take a single device and use it repeatable to take dozens upon dozens of lives. They can just walk into a church, a school, a movie theater, a shopping mall, or a club (all of which have happened seperate to this incident)  and decide for any reason or no reason at all  that today's the day that quite a few unknowing people will lose their lives.
