There's A Canyon In MyTooth

Otherwise known as a cavity, its been building up to this point the past few days but now it's reached a fever-pitch and it's awful, I won't be able to do anything about it until next week though, and judging by the severity of the pain, which is reminiscent of the pain I had a few years ago when I had a cavity that had to be pulled (when I was warned of my high blood pressure but did nothing) this tooth probably has to go too. It's interesting I  try to make it a point to brush my teeth more then something happens like a seeping spell of depression and it's the the first thing to go, especially  since brushing before bed becomes so iffy since bedtime  can very during bouts of the dark haze.

Anyways it's going to be long rest of the week, the good news is Belle has been rather good, no accidents.

  1. Ouch. I hate going to the dentist, but it's better than the pain of a cavity.

  2. Can your dentist (or any dentist) fit you in as an emergency? You don't want to get an infection or an absess. If you can't be seen until next week and the pain gets very bad, you can always go to the ER. They don't do any dentistry there but can give you medication so you're not in as much pain.

Hopefully they can do a filling or a root canal and save your tooth. You're too young to lose teeth!

    1. My dentist office does do emergency appointments, I'm calling tomorrow to see how that goes. I'd love if they could save it but with the level of pain I'm in I'm assuming it's toast.

    2. You'd be surprised with what they might be able to do. Pulling the tooth would really be a last resort. Let us know what happens.

I am really phobic of going to the doctor or dentist. Braving my own dental appt next week.
